Current BEY deposit amounts
BEY publishes the security deposit on each approved Miami vehicle page. The current BMW M3 Competition, BMW M4 Competition and Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Larte each list a $1,000 deposit. The Lamborghini Huracan Spyder lists a $1,500 deposit.
Those amounts belong to the current published vehicles and may change when the listing terms change. Read the exact vehicle page and written quote together. Do not apply one car's deposit to a different model or an unpublished vehicle.
The deposit is separate from the rental subtotal. A two-day BMW rental at the current $445 daily rate begins with an $890 rental subtotal and lists a $1,000 deposit. Delivery, eligibility and the complete total still need confirmation.
| Vehicle | Daily rate | Deposit | Minimum |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026 BMW M3 Competition | $445 | $1,000 | 2 days |
| 2022 BMW M4 Competition | $445 | $1,000 | 2 days |
| 2019 Lamborghini Huracan Spyder | $945 | $1,500 | 2 days |
| 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Larte | $499 | $1,000 | 2 days |
The deposit is not the rental price
The daily rate covers the rental period under the confirmed terms. The security deposit protects the rental company's position while the vehicle is with the renter and during the post-return review. Treat them as separate amounts when planning payment capacity.
The advertised daily rate may also be subject to a minimum rental duration. Multiply the rate by the required number of rental days before comparing cars. Then add any confirmed tax or delivery fee and account for the deposit separately.
A card with enough room for the rental subtotal but not the deposit can stop the handoff. Ask which payment method is accepted and how much available credit or funds are needed before traveling to the meeting point.
Release timing depends on more than the return time
The car's physical return and the bank's release of funds are separate events. The rental team may first need to complete the agreed inspection, mileage reading, fuel check and return review. The bank controls when released credit or refunded funds become visible afterward.
Ask when BEY begins its release process and what could delay it. Then ask the card issuer how it handles released authorizations. Avoid building the next day's spending plan around an immediate return of available credit unless both sides confirm it.
BEY does not publish one universal release time on the current site. The written quote and payment record should state the applicable handling rather than relying on a competitor's policy or a social-media answer.
Document the car at handoff and return
Join the condition review instead of treating it as a formality. Photograph the exterior, wheels, glass and cabin under useful light. Record existing marks and make sure the written inspection reflects what both sides see.
Repeat the process at return and keep the final odometer and fuel reading. Photographs do not replace the agreement, but they give both sides a shared record if a condition or mileage question comes up later.
Report a new problem promptly. Do not attempt an unauthorized repair or wait until the return meeting to mention a warning light, wheel damage or interior spill.
Mileage and return terms can affect the final review
Current published BEY vehicles include 100 miles per rental day and list additional mileage at $5 per mile. The agreement confirms the full-rental allowance and the odometer readings used to calculate any excess.
Delivery positioning, late returns, fuel and cleaning are separate questions. Ask which terms apply before taking the car. Do not assume the deposit is the maximum possible charge or that every issue will be deducted without an explanation.
BEY does not offer one-way rentals. Return the car according to the confirmed time and place, or contact the team before changing the plan. An unapproved location change can complicate the inspection and return record.
Insurance and deposits are separate requirements
BEY requires full-coverage auto insurance and a vehicle-specific security deposit. Insurance does not automatically remove the deposit, and a deposit does not replace insurance. The driver must satisfy both parts of the review.
Ask the insurer about the deductible and coverage limits for the exact rental. Those numbers do not necessarily match the deposit. A $1,000 deposit does not prove that every renter obligation is capped at $1,000.
Drivers age 18 to 20 should confirm eligibility, insurance and payment capacity before selecting nonrefundable travel plans. Meeting the minimum age still leaves vehicle-specific approval and the deposit review.
Payment safety before sending a deposit
Use the contact information on the official BEY website and match the quote to the exact vehicle, dates and customer name. Do not send a deposit because an unrelated social account claims a car is available.
The written confirmation should identify the rental subtotal, deposit, mileage, minimum duration, handoff plan and accepted payment method. Ask for clarification if the recipient, amount or vehicle differs from the request.
Keep private payment information out of ordinary email or text unless the team supplies an approved process. A form acknowledgment confirms receipt of an inquiry; it is not a payment request or reservation confirmation.
Compare the full upfront commitment between cars
Two cars with similar daily rates can require different upfront capacity because the deposit, minimum days or delivery plan differs. Compare the rental subtotal and deposit side by side instead of sorting the fleet by daily rate alone.
The current M3 and M4 publish the same $445 daily rate, two-day minimum and $1,000 deposit. The Huracan publishes a higher daily rate and a $1,500 deposit. The GLE 53 publishes a $499 daily rate and $1,000 deposit. Availability and any delivery fee can still change which request works for the trip.
A deposit should remain available for the rental process rather than being counted as spending money during the trip. Leave room for fuel, parking and other travel costs without depending on an immediate release after return. Check the card's available credit rather than looking only at its total limit before the handoff.
Keep a clear record after the return
Save the return receipt, condition photographs and any message confirming the vehicle was received. If the deposit was an authorization, keep the card statement showing the pending entry. If it was a charge, keep the refund or release confirmation when supplied.
Contact BEY with the reservation details and transaction amount if a question comes up. State whether the bank shows the item as pending, posted or reversed. Those terms help the team distinguish a bank display issue from an unresolved rental review.
Contact the bank after the rental team confirms its action. The bank can explain when available credit or refunded funds should appear. Do not submit duplicate disputes while the parties are still identifying the same transaction, because that can make the record harder to reconcile.
Deposit questions to settle in writing
Confirm the exact amount, accepted payment method and whether the transaction is an authorization or charge. Ask when the release process begins, what inspection occurs and whom to contact if the bank still shows the transaction afterward.
Confirm the rental subtotal separately. Include the minimum days, taxes or approved fees, mileage allowance, additional-mile rate and delivery details. That prevents the deposit from being mistaken for part of the rental price.

Common Miami exotic-rental deposit questions
Is the deposit included in the daily rate? No. BEY publishes it as a separate vehicle term.
Does every car have the same deposit? No. The current published range is $1,000 to $1,500, depending on the vehicle.
Will the deposit return the moment I hand back the key? Do not assume that. The return review and the bank's processing can occur on different schedules.
Can full-coverage insurance waive the deposit? BEY requires both under the current published terms unless a written quote says otherwise.
Does submitting the inquiry place a hold? No. The team confirms the exact car, dates, driver, payment terms and total before a reservation exists.
