The deposit is not the rental price

The rental subtotal pays for the agreed rental period. The deposit is a separate amount handled under the rental agreement. Keep those figures on different lines when comparing quotes and planning funds for the trip.

For example, the current BMW M3 Competition is $445 per day with a two-day minimum. Two days produce an $890 rental subtotal, and the separate deposit is $1,000. The car includes 200 miles across those two rental days; additional mileage is listed at $5 per mile.

The $890 subtotal and $1,000 deposit add to $1,890 for planning. That is not an all-in rental price or a promise that both amounts are collected in the same way or at the same time. Confirm any applicable tax, delivery or other quote item, along with the payment schedule.

Agree the payment method and handling

BEY accepts deposits in any form. Tell the team how you intend to pay, then confirm the exact method, amount and handling for your vehicle before sending funds.

Ask whether the agreed method involves a hold, a charge or another arrangement, when it is collected, and what record you will receive. Have the team put these details in the written quote.

Keep the agreed terms and payment receipt together. If you change the payment method, confirm whether any part of the handling or return process also changes.

How long does BEY hold the deposit?

BEY usually holds the deposit for a few days after return and may hold it for up to one week. This describes the usual handling period, not a guaranteed release date for every rental or payment method.

Damage may require further handling beyond that period. If the deposit does not cover the damage, further charges or measures may apply under the rental agreement. The deposit is not a cap on every possible obligation.

Confirm the process, any unresolved return issues and the appropriate contact in writing. Leave room in your travel budget without depending on an immediate deposit release after handing back the key.

Document the car at handoff and return

Join the condition review instead of treating it as a formality. Photograph the exterior, wheels, glass and cabin under useful light. Record existing marks and make sure the written inspection reflects what both sides see.

Repeat the process at return and keep the final odometer and fuel reading. Photographs do not replace the agreement, but they give both sides a shared record if a condition or mileage question comes up later.

Mileage and return terms can affect the final review

Most published BEY vehicles include 100 miles per rental day; the Ferrari SF90 includes 50. The S580 and black 2027 Corvette 3LT list extra miles at $3 per mile. The SF90 and other published vehicles list $5 per extra mile. The agreement confirms the full-rental allowance and the odometer readings used to calculate any excess.

Delivery positioning, late returns, fuel and cleaning are separate questions. Ask which terms apply before taking the car. Do not assume the deposit is the maximum possible charge or that every issue will be deducted without an explanation.

BEY does not offer one-way rentals. Return the car according to the confirmed time and place, or contact the team before changing the plan. An unapproved location change can complicate the inspection and return record.

Insurance and deposits are separate requirements

Most cars require a personal full-coverage policy and a vehicle-specific deposit. Eligible cars can be requested without a personal auto policy, with coverage quoted separately. A deposit does not replace the applicable coverage arrangement. The driver must satisfy both parts of the review.

Ask the insurer about the deductible and coverage limits for the exact rental. Those numbers do not necessarily match the deposit. A $1,000 deposit does not prove that every renter obligation is capped at $1,000.

Drivers age 18 to 20 should confirm eligibility, insurance and payment capacity before selecting nonrefundable travel plans. Meeting the minimum age still leaves vehicle-specific approval and the deposit review.

Two cars with similar daily rates can require different upfront capacity because the deposit, minimum days or delivery plan differs. Compare the rental subtotal and deposit side by side instead of sorting the fleet by daily rate alone.

The C8 Stingray 3LT convertible has a $500 deposit; the Z06 3LZ has a $1,000 deposit. The Escalade is $700, the GLE 53 Coupe is $500 and the GLE 53 Larte is $1,000. Those are separate from their different daily rates and minimum rental periods.

Allow for the rental expense, deposit and other trip spending separately. Confirm when each payment is needed and how the agreed deposit method affects the funds you can use during the rental.

Keep a clear record after the return

Save the return receipt, condition photographs and any message confirming the vehicle was received. If the deposit was an authorization, keep the card statement showing the pending entry. If it was a charge, keep the refund or release confirmation when supplied.
