Count the people before counting the money
Everyone wants a big SUV. Everyone has an opinion. The group suddenly goes quiet when someone asks who is paying.
For a large SUV rental in Miami, BEY’s black 2024 Cadillac Escalade and white 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 each list seven seats including the driver. The Escalade is $399 per day with a two-day minimum. The GLS 63 is $425 per day with a one-day minimum. Start with your headcount and rental length.
Seven seats can mean you and six friends. It does not mean seven friends plus you. Somehow this needs saying.
One rental day changes the choice
The Escalade has the lower daily rate, but its two-day minimum starts at $798 in base rent. The GLS 63’s one-day minimum starts at $425. For a one-day plan, the GLS 63 is the lower minimum base-rent starting point among these two cars.
For the same two rental days, the Escalade starts at $798 and the GLS 63 at $850 in base rent. The difference is $52. Compare the exact cabin photos and the trip rather than choosing on the daily number alone.
Deposits are separate: the Escalade publishes $700 and the GLS 63 publishes $500. The written quote confirms any applicable tax, delivery and other amounts.
| Exact vehicle | Per day | Minimum days | Minimum base rent | Security deposit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Black 2024 Cadillac Escalade | $399 | 2 | $798 | $700 |
| White 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 | $425 | 1 | $425 | $500 |
Split the base rent before anyone says “I’ll pay you later”
For seven people sharing only the published two-day base rent equally, the Escalade example is $114 per person. The GLS 63 example is about $121.43 per person. Those are planning calculations; they exclude the deposit and separately confirmed charges.
Agree on the split while everyone is still answering messages. Decide who pays which confirmed amounts and how you handle any extra mileage or other charge under the agreement.
Your friend’s bank app somehow stops working when it is time to pay. Agree on contributions before the handoff, while the app still works.
| Vehicle | Two-day base rent | Base rent divided by seven |
|---|---|---|
| Escalade | $798 | $114.00 |
| GLS 63 | $850 | $121.43 |
Seven seats is not seven suitcases
A seat count does not prove your whole luggage load fits with every required seat in use. Send the outside dimensions of the bags and ask BEY to confirm the arrangement for the exact vehicle.
If everyone packs a giant case for a two-night trip, solve that before pickup. Someone saying “it’ll be fine” is not a measurement.
Use the SUV passenger and luggage guide for the fit questions. This article handles the group budget and rental minimums.
A bigger price tag does not add seats
BEY’s Maybach GLS 600 and Urus S each list five seats including the driver. They are options for smaller groups, not substitutes for seven seats. If six friends are joining you, the published headcount rules those cars out for taking everyone together.
For a smaller group considering the Maybach, read the Maybach rental planning guide for its five-seat layout, two-day minimum and quote details.
The Escalade and GLS 63 each list 100 included miles per rental day and $5 per additional mile. Share the route and handoff address when requesting the quote.
Both seven-seat listings require an approved driver aged 18 or older, a valid license and personal full-coverage auto insurance. Confirm any additional driver directly with BEY. Passing the keys around because everyone chipped in is not a driver-approval process.
Send one clear request
Choose the Escalade or GLS 63 as your starting point. Send the dates, total occupants, bag sizes and hotel or property handoff address. Mention your actual start and return times.
Request large-SUV availability so BEY can review fit, driver eligibility and the complete quote. The inquiry does not charge you or create a reservation.
You bring the details. BEY brings the quote. Your friends can bring their share for once.
