South Beach's advertised benefits need booking-specific conditions; BEY's eligibility and availability also need approval. Compare written offers for the same dates before choosing.

South Beach's advertised benefits deserve a specific quote

South Beach's homepage advertises unlimited miles, free gas and free delivery, alongside concierge services. Those benefits could matter if you plan substantial driving or want several services arranged through one contact. Ask which car and rental period qualify, and have the applicable conditions included in the offer.

Its About Us page describes a quote-based process and services that extend beyond cars to yachts, aircraft and accommodation. That gives you a reason to contact South Beach about a wider itinerary. A car-and-yacht request still needs a clear car agreement: identify the vehicle, driving terms and amounts charged for each service.

For BEY, start with the exact listing rather than an assumption about the whole fleet. A red Corvette and a green Urus S have different prices, deposits and mileage allowances. The named car, proposed drivers and dates determine the offer. If you change vehicles during planning, review the terms again instead of carrying over the first car's conditions.

Three BEY cars with different starting terms

For a two-person trip, BEY's red 2026 Corvette C8 2LT offers a one-day starting point. The green 2024 Urus S provides five seats and a one-day minimum. The white 2019 Huracán Spyder is a two-seat Lamborghini with a two-day minimum. Choose the layout and duration that work before comparing prices across brands.

These examples describe BEY's actual listings. We couldn't establish matching South Beach cars and date-based prices from the public pages reviewed. That leaves the other half of the price comparison open. Send South Beach the model, rental period and route you want, then compare its response with the relevant BEY offer.

Passenger and luggage fit come before the price

Four adults can't share a two-seat Corvette or Huracán. BEY's five-seat Urus S is a relevant starting point for that group, but five seats don't establish that everyone's luggage will fit. Send the number of travelers, large suitcases and smaller bags with your request. Ask South Beach to identify the actual model and seating configuration in its proposed alternative.

For an airport arrival, you may prefer to handle the bags separately and use a sports car later in the stay. Compare the cost and timing of that plan with an SUV for the full trip. A vehicle that doesn't fit the passengers or their luggage won't become suitable through a lower daily rate.

Price your planned miles before deciding

A mileage offer matters most when it matches the driving you intend to do. Write down the whole route, including the handoff, hotel travel and return journey. A short evening around Miami Beach and two days visiting several South Florida cities create different mileage needs, even if both trips start with the same car.

For example, two charged days with BEY's red C8 include 250 miles. Driving 300 miles adds 50 miles at $4 each, or $200. The displayed two-day rental charge is $798, making rental plus excess mileage $998 before taxes and other applicable charges. The separate $850 security deposit does not belong in that spending subtotal.

If South Beach confirms an unlimited-mile offer for your exact car and route, compare its complete price with that mileage-adjusted BEY figure. We don't have a South Beach quote for this example, so we can't calculate a saving. Ask whether the advertised mileage offer has geographic or use restrictions rather than assuming that unlimited miles permit every route.

For BEY, one-way rentals are not offered. Agree the handoff and return plan before building an itinerary around a different final city. Included mileage, permission to take a route and permission to return elsewhere are separate questions. A larger mileage allowance does not answer the other two.

Match the driver to the car before paying

BEY's red C8 2LT and green Urus S accept applications from age 18 without a personal auto policy, subject to approval. It doesn't mean driving without an agreed coverage arrangement.

BEY's white Huracán requires personal full-coverage auto insurance. Its 18+ minimum doesn't remove that requirement. Other cars can have different rules, including the red C8 1LT's 21+ minimum. Use the Miami requirements page and selected listing together, and include everyone who intends to drive in the request.

We didn't establish South Beach's driver-age threshold or exact insurance arrangement from the pages reviewed. That doesn't establish that it accepts or rejects a particular applicant. Give its team the driver ages and insurance situation early, then request an answer for the named car. An offer only helps if the intended drivers qualify.

For either company, ask who is permitted to drive, what coverage applies and what financial responsibility remains with the renter. Keep those answers with the quote. A security deposit is an upfront amount to plan for; it should not be treated as a promise that responsibility for damage stops at that figure.

South Beach's contact page lists 7620 NW 25th St, Unit 2, Miami, FL 33122. The company name alone doesn't establish a pickup counter beside your South Beach hotel. Arrange the exact meeting address before traveling there. If you want delivery, provide the property name, full address and requested time with your quote request.

For BEY, Miami-Dade delivery requests are reviewed with the car and dates; the team confirms the location, timing and any fee in the offer. Tell us about garage access and your return time. If you arrive by air, include the flight details and ask how a delay would affect the handoff. Don't assume the website rate includes that delivery.

Separate three amounts when you read either offer: rental and mandatory charges, any reservation payment credited toward that rental, and the security deposit. Ask when each is collected and how the deposit is released. This avoids comparing a full rental quote from one company with only an initial payment from the other.

Request cancellation and date-change rules before making a payment. Neither company receives a free-cancellation promise from us here. Have the operator state the deadline, refund or credit treatment and what happens if the car or driver can't be approved. That answer matters if your travel dates are still uncertain.
